Visonic PowerMax is a wireless security system kit that includes:

  PowerMaxExpress wireless alarm control panel
   2 wireless door and window sensors
   1 wireless pet immune motion detector
   4-button wireless security key fob
   built-in alarm siren
   backup battery - up to (4) hours of stand-by power

wireless door or window sensors – are for perimeter protection
wireless motion detectors – for interior protection
wireless keyfob – to arm and disarm the security system, plus panic alarm button, cell phone can be used for arming and disarming
 

Additional Transmitters for Doors and Windows, Space Protection, Life Safety, Remote controls and Personal Emergency Response are available.

Alarm Communication methods – to send alarm or trouble signals to a Central Monitoring Station where the operators respond appropriately - call key-holders and authorities.

2. Cellular alarm communicator is a GSM unit which is using wireless GSM network(Rogers) to send signals to a cellular alarm monitoring station and the signals forwarded to the Central monitoring station. Cellular alarm communications are more reliable and secure than Internet communications, and can be used for primary communication(no land line) and back-up communication for land line. The GSM units are equipped with back-up batteries. There are few providers for cellular communication for this system.
